Description

Davis Mountains State Park offers several miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. They also have ranger programs on stargazing, birding, and geocaching. A total of 93 sites are available in the park. 26 of those have full hookups, 34 with water and electric hookups, and 33 with water. Picnic tables and restrooms are available. A hike-in primitive tent site is also located in the park. Camping fee is $10 to $25 a night.

Large and nice campground in a quiet surrounding. A lot of birds. Clean toiletts as well as clean and free showers. Some of the tentgrounds have drink water. Negative: This is the first state park where we have to pay in addition a fee of 6$ per person :(

Nice campground and SP, several hikes and great views. Close to Ft Davis HS.
