Description

Double Lake Campground offers campsites, a shelter for groups up to 100, and a lodge for group events by reservation through the National Recreation Reservations Service (NRRS). Campers can also try the 21-mile mountain bike trail that meanders around the lake, where they can go fishing for bass, bream and catfish. There's also a five-mile hike (one way) on the Lone Star Hiking Trail, which provides an opportunity to experience the Big Creek Scenic Area.
