Description

376 acres of oak forest, five miles of lakeshore, and Lake Tawakoni itself comprise this state park. Visitors can go boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, birding and geocaching. It has a 4-lane boat ramp and fish cleaning station. It has 62 sites with partial hookups, 16 with full hookups and 1 group site. Picnic tables, fire rings, grills, restrooms and showers are available. Camping fee is $20 to $42 a night.
