Located close to Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park, Horsethief Campground offers 85 individual sites and five group sites sat under a pygmy pinyon-juniper forest on the mesas above Moab, yet offer great views. The area has many 4WD roads and mountain bike routes nearby.

Convenient location in between two national parks and 30 minutes to Moab. Scenery is nice, but a bit barren. Lots of spots available when camping midweek June 2016.

Nice spot. Lots of space on each site. Picnic table and fire place. Big campground so did not go full as early as those in national and state park. A lots of biking trails around.

Plenty of space to drop in at this time of the year. Sites are wide. No fresh water, no showers, only good toilets.
