Description
Situated along the Colorado River, Moonflower Canyon Recreation Area is a popular shady area known for its short hike that ends at a small pool. See the mouth of the canyon containing petroglyphs, and visitors are expected to protect the past and do not touch or deface the rock panels.
There is no water, but toilets are available. Campers are reminded to pack out all the trash brought in and any found along the way. There is one group site up for reservation through Recreation.gov, which can hold 20 to 25 people. There is also parking available for up to 10 vehicles, and a very short walk is required from the parking area to the group site.
