Description
Go for some great fishing and boating on a 2,800-acre lake at Scofield State Park, while staying at Mountain View Campground. The campground offers 34 single-family campsites located near the dam on the lake's eastern shore. Campers would get direct access to the reservoir and the paved boat ramp and floating docks next to the campground.
The area also features convenient amenities including drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers for a fee, and a dump station.

Mtn View Campground is near the dam and offers incredible views of the lake as it is built on a terrace on the shoreline. Many of these campsites would be ideal for smaller trailers or tents.

Great little campground. Not at all busy in October. Showers were basic but adequate. Pretty spot but nowhere to walk.
