Description
Price Canyon Recreation Area boasts cooler temperatures and a shade of large ponderosa pine trees during the summer. Visitors can go on the nature trail that features a stand of bristlecone pine trees.
There are also 12 large, well-spaced campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis, which include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets and parking spaces, as well as three group picnic areas with large picnic tables, toilets, fire rings and parking.

$8 per night, 10 min off the highway up a gravel road (cars ok). Nice campsite, nice views. In 2017 closed for season Oct 10, water was turned off Oct 2nd due to cold temperatures.
