Dispersed/undeveloped camping permitted in this area (Grand Staircase-Escalante NM) in existing camping areas only. Overnight permits required for all overnight car camping or backpacking. Permits are free and can be obtained from any of the visitors centres or developed trailheads. Do not camp at trailheads. Use human waste sanitation devices.
