Description
There are 22 single campsites in the campground overlooking the beautiful Wide Hollow Reservoir. Sites have picnic tables, fire rings and grills. All sites can accommodate tents, RVs, and trailers. There is drinking water, flush toilets, showers, and dump station available.
Since this campground is located in Escalante Petrified Forest State Park, guests can go hiking, canoeing, boating, fishing, and picnicking. Camping fee ranges from $16 to $20 a night.

Great and quit campsite. The best dishwashing area I've ever seen.Has tables, toilets and very good shower. 20$ per site for camping

To make a reservation online, use Escalante Petrified Forest, not any other name. Recreation.gov will not get you a reservation. I was told https://www.reserveamerica.com/ would work, but I'm not sure; it was too slow to get on. After talking to the humans at the desk, I found that 8 and 15 are not advertised, so walkups should be ok. FYI, 8 has no shade and costs the same as ones that have shelters, so be warned. Stade three nights and every night someone's car alarm went off, at least once! Showers are great, but Hill Hollow, north of 12 in bolder, will rent a shower.
