Description
Nestled in the heart of Fruita Valley, Gifford Homestead was renovated and refurnished to stand as a cultural demonstration of early Mormon settlement in the area. It includes a barn, smokehouse, garden, pasture, and rock walls. It is now converted into a museum and a store where visitors can learn about Capitol Reef.

One room is the museum and the rest is a store selling bread, fruit preserves, pies, cinnamon rolls etc. And souvenirs.
