Description
Ancestral Puebloans, also referred to as Anasazi, occupied this community between 1050 and 1175 A.D. Today, visitors can watch a video here explaining the history people and land. There are also over 1,000 artifacts and pottery pieces excavated, a lot of them on display in the museum.
Behind the museum is a short trail with interpretive signs about the Coombs site.

Free Wifi available. There is also a desk for permits in Grand Staircase/Escalante NM there, although no one was sitting there when I stopped.
