Description
Also known as the Bonneville Salt Flats Race Track, Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway is an area marked out for motor sports and is particularly noted as the venue for numerous land speed records. The area is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It was first used for motor sports in 1912, but only became popular in the 1930s when Ab Jenkins and Sir Malcolm Campbell competed to set land speed records.

Beautifull place near from the I80 and from the Bonneville Speedway. Be carfull drive only on hard salt. There more spots around from this location.

Camping is not permitted on the salt flats however it is permitted on the adjacent public lands.
