Description

Bridge Mountain can be hiked for around 10 to 14 hours. It is a strenuous hike with rock scrambling. It starts at the Canyon Overlooking parking lot, then down to a steep, sandy hill into Pine Creek. You will scramble up the slickrock to a large bowl above Gifford Canyon. You will continue east then descend to the canyon. The easiest part of the hike will be the stroll down Hepworth Wash. But it won't be easy for long, since you will reach the most challenging part in the sandy and loose area on the couloir. You will find yourself in the legendary chimney obstacle, which will then lead you to more rock obstacles until you reach the Bridge Mountain.
