Description

The Devils Garden Trailhead is only the beginning, as hikers would have to make the difficult choice of which trail to hike first. There is an easy trail, which is the Landscape Arch. The 1.9-mile roundtrip trail is relatively flat with packed surfaces to walk on, with no elevation gain. Hikers can also go for the more difficult trails, such as the Double O Arch, which steeply climbs up and on sandstone fins - making footing quite rocky. Those who would like to challenge must use their hands and feet to climb. It is a 4.1-mile roundtrip that offers incredible views, despite the rough climb. There's also the Primitive Trail, which is a 2.1-mile one-way alternative route to or from Double O Arch, and is the most difficult segment of the trail system. There are steep slopes, narrow drop-offs, rock scrambling, and route finding, along with the need to cross a pool that may contain water.

This 7.2 mile (11.6km) round trip is difficult and includes Double O Arch, Landscape Arch and the primitive trail. Not recommended when rock is wet or snowy or if you're uncomfortable with heights.
