Better after rain as the waterfalls are bigger. This would be very serene and peaceful if not for the crowds. The upper pool trail comes off the lower pool trail and distances below include the lower pool trail section. This trail starts at the Zion Lodge.

The lower pool trail is 1.2 miles (1.9km) return and leads to the lower pool and three waterfalls. The upper pool trail is 3 miles (4.8km) return. No swimming in the pools.

Beautiful walk. Spectacular falls and pools. Sadly too many people, do this hike early in the morning!!!!
