This road was built in the 1950's by Texas Zinc Minerals, during the uranium boom to provide a route for ore haulers from on Cedar Mesa. This road is an 11% grade on gravel and takes in some amazing views.

Crazy road! Met an RV comming up, had to reverse 200yards as road wasn't wide enough! I can't believe this road was even built!
