Description

Pa'rus Trail is the only trail in Zion National Park which allows pets and bicycles. It can be accessed from South Campground to Canyon Junction, following the Virgin River. This trail is handicap accessible but wheelchair will still need assistance. Various exhibits can be seen trailside. Views of the peaks, cliffs, and pinnacles of the main canyon can be seen here.

Easy walk for you and the dog. There is a nice waterfall with oportunity to swim. Dogs are allowed in the river.

Park before the south entrance or at the visitors centre to start this trail at the South Campground. This is the only trail that allows bikes and dogs. It is a 3.5 mile (5.6 km) round trip and takes around 1.5 hours. The trail follows the Virgin River up the Zion Canyon.
