Description
Peek-a-boo and Spooky Gulch can be combined for a 3.5-mile loop. These are moderately difficult which require some rock scrambling. It is recommended to start at Peek-a-boo which is a narrow, twisted slot canyon. There is a pothole filled with water. The highlight of the hike is at 100 meters into the slot where you can see interlocking swirls, fins, and arches.
From the end of the trail, you can then continue to Spooky Gulch which has deep, dark twists and turns. Claustrophobics might want to skip this trail as the walls are so narrow that an average-sized adult will have a hard time passing through. Be cautious of squeezing into tight spaces as some hikers had been stuck here.

Park at the parking lot unless you have high clearance and 4wd and walk or hitch the end of the 4wd road. The gulch is probably skippable, but the slot canyons were awesome. I'd recomend taking Peekaboo in and Spooky out as a loop since Spooky has a big rock jam that is possible to descend, but would be tough to climb up.

Don't do it if you're not in excellent shape and skip if you're afraid of heights.
