Valley of the Gods Road, Mexican Hat, Utah

Description

Valley of the Gods is a scenic backcountry area and a hidden gem offering isolated buttes, towering pinnacles, and wide open spaces. Because of this, there are no designated trails or campgrounds. Check out the 17-mile dirt and gravel road that winds through the valley, and provides visitors a fun drive through the usually deserted area. Bike enthusiasts can also enjoy riding the road through the valley. Take note that all visitors are expected to be self-sufficient and carry emergency supplies, as there are no facilities, no gas stations, stores or services in the area - even other travelers along the road.

There are hundreds of little pull overs that are for camping. Keep driving in until you find one that you love. Every view on this loop is incredible. My fav camping spot so far in Utah!

Go to the Camping of Gods or beyond for the best and secluded spots.
