Description

From the trailhead, it heads into an open meadow. Hikers can have a view of slickrock domes surrounding the area, first peak is Pine Valley Peak. The trail then travels through a ponderosa pine forest providing shade. As you continue, you will have a view of the sandstone maze to the south with lots of cliffs and canyons. You will pass by another high meadow which then descends to Wildcat Canyon.
