Description
Overlooking Padilla Bay and San Juan Islands, Bay View State Park is a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. It offers several recreations like boating, kayaking, fishing, sailboarding, swimming and waterskiing.
There are 46 standard sites and 30 partial hookup sites in the park. 9 of the sites have beautiful views of Padilla Bay while the others are on grassy areas. Picnic tables, fire rings, water, showers, and toilets are available.
Camping fee is $12 to $45 a night.

Large site with mixture of serviced and non-serviced sites. OK size sites but close together. Bathrooms modern and fairly clean. On a Saturday night almost fully booked but a handful of FCFS sites left. Lots of noisy groups, loud music etc. Prices vary depending on site and season - $25-40 atm. Coin-operated hot showers. Short walk to 'beach'.

Don't know why the rating is so low - this place is beautiful! Maybe it's just my Australian standards but it's stunning here and the facilities are clean and great.
