Colonial Creek campground has 10 walk-in tent sites and several sites for RVs and trailers. It offers a fishing pier and boat launch on Diablo Lake. Thunder Knob and Creek trails can be accessed nearby.
Camping fee is $24 a night.

Some great riverfront tent sites with excellent views. Larger sites for RV's and trailers in the forested section. Dump point at the entry to the campground. Walking trails to the rear of the campground. Heated restrooms.

We have stayed at this campground numerous times. It's quiet. It can be hot in the summer if you are up in the trees away from the lake. There is a large population of Black Bear in the area so be proactive is cleaning up after yourself and use bear boxes where available.
