This was such a lovely campground at the start of the north cascades national park. We stayed in site 9 and it was large and spacious with a view of the river through the trees and a little trail down there. We camped here early October and it had been recently switched over to free camping. I wouldnt recommend taking an rv here though. Small site

This campground is open year round. No fees in the winter and no water or garbage. Fire ravaged the area in 2015 but the campground was unharmed. Fall colors are spectacular.

The previous review says it all. Heavily wooded, fast flowing river alongside. High canopy and thick undergrowth. Sites 1 to 19 have fire pits and picnic tables. Two long drop toilets. Great spot to camp. We got site 14 as an "open" site, not reserved, meaning it's for free!
