Description
Open year-round, the Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park Day-Use Area offers beautiful picnic areas, exterior displays, and an interpretive facility. The Interpretive Center features spectacular views of the Columbia River, Sentinel Gap and surrounding Ice Age flood-carved basalt landscape. It also has indoor exhibits that tell the geologic story of the Vantage Petrified Forest.
