Description

Situated in North Cascades National Park, the Purple Creek Trail is hot and dry with only the lake as its prime water source. It gains 6,600 feet in elevation, making it more of strenuous hike by any approach route. However, it does offer days of high country exploring for backpackers, as the trail can be combined with the Boulder Creek or Summit Trails to create multi-day backpacking loop options.
