Description
Skyline Trail is a 5.5-mile round trip that gains an elevation of 1,700 feet, and may take about 4.5 hours to finish. Its trailhead is located near the entrance to the Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise, marked by stone steps inscribed with a quote by John Muir.

Snow covered in winter. The loop is 5.5 miles round trip with a 1700 foot elevation gain. The Skyline trail to Myrtle Falls and return is an easy one mile.

If you go clockwise it's steep uphill but a nice gradual descent for the most part. Still some wildflowers this time of year.
