The Thirtymile fire memorial is in honor of the 4 USFS fire fighters that lost their lives fighting the fire. We try to make it over there once a year to see how nature reclaims it's property. This was a fire that was caused by a neglected campfire. The result was a senseless loss of lives. Please be careful with campfires! This is a must see POI
