Description
The Wild Horse Wind Farm is a breathtaking 273-megawatt wind farm that generates energy for Puget Sound Energy, consisting of 127 1.8-megawatt Vestas V80 turbines and 22 2.0-megawatt Vestas V80 turbines on a 10,800-acre site.
It also has a visitor center called the Renewable Energy Center that offers guided tours of a Silicon Energy Solar array, a 1.8 MW wind turbine generator, a wind turbine blade, and a look inside the base of a wind turbine.

The visitor center has lots of interesting information about the wind turbines as well as the environmental impact, etc. Free tours at 10am and 2pm, they last about 1hr, maybe 1.5hrs if there's a lot of questions from the group. You get to go inside the base of one of the turbines at the very end of the tour!
