Description

Peninsula State Park is Wisconsin's most popular camping destination. It is considered as the state's most complete park. It has a sand beach, a lighthouse, and 8 miles of Door County shoreline. The park offers 468 campsites in 5 campgrounds, 3 group camps, and a summer theatre. North Nicolet Bay has 44 primitive sites. South Nicolet has 143 campsites including 54 electric sites. Tennison Bay has 188 sites where 97 have electricity. Weborg has 12 electric sites and Welcker's Point has 81 primitive sites. Showers, water, and toilets are available. Daily rate starts at $20.

big park to explore, Shoreline Rd is very busy, not walkable, campsites close together, busy, bathrooms and showers ok cleanliness, could be better, single lane campground roads, fast drivers, heavy traffic, wonderful forest hiking trails, high fees for out of state visitors.
