Description
When on County Road 407 Kortes Road in Alcova, Black Beach Campground is the first campground visitors would reach. The campground is a quiet location with few campsites available, and almost all sites have picnic shelters. Campers can also make use of the two boat ramps onsite, where they can go fishing and boating. There are restrooms in this campground, but no drinking water or utilities.

Cold the first week of May, but beautiful. Saw a bald eagle, and a bull snake swam by. Stayed the max of 10 days. $10/night, self pay, rangers drive around every so often to check for envelope receipt posted in your window.
