Description

Juniper and Douglas fir trees provide shade to the 85 campsites at Mammoth Campground. Fishing and hiking opportunities are nearby. It is also close to Mammoth Hot Springs if you want to do some exploring. Elk and bison are usually spotted in the campground. There are flush toilets, potable water, trash bin, food lockers, and fire woods in the campground. Mobile signal is also pretty decent here. A staff on site will be able to give assistance to campers. 5 accessible campsites are available, with paved routes and ramp to the amphitheater. Camping fee is $25 a night for 6 people. All sites are for reservation.

Late September was still a good idea to get in early, Elk regularly wandering through campground.

Its a lovley campground. Clean toiletts and you can walk to the hot springs 15 minutes

Stayed in April so was very quiet. Lovely spot, woke up to elk surrounding the campsite. Safe Food storage from bears and heated, clean toilets. Awesome!!
