Description
At just under 10,500 feet, Silver Lake Campground is the highest elevation campground on the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District, while providing easy access to trails, lakes, streams, and glacial landscapes of the area.
There are 17 campsites with three being RV pull-throughs that can hold trailers under 32', as well as picnic tables, toilets, water, fire grates, and trash receptacles.

Nice spot, can be pretty cold even in summer, tough road

Several dispersal sites south of SR 130, the paved, main thoroughfare through Medicine Bow National Forest, 4.3 miles by 130 west of Lake Marie. Access road at 41.327991, -106.362317. Unmarked save for the stop sign facing vehicles entering 130.

Beautiful spot on a small creek. Road had several deep pot holes, could be an issue for those with little clearance. 8 inches of snow overnight, glorious.
