Description
Located two miles off Highway 230, Six Mile Gap Campground is sat on a saddle above North Platte River, giving access to campers to the river and the Platte River Wilderness Area.
There are six tent and back-in sites, and three pull-through sites that can fit trailers of up to 30ft. The campground also boasts amenities such as picnic tables, bear canisters for food storage, one vault toilet, potable water, fire grates and trash service.

A separate parking area is available for hikers and river floaters. Popular activities nearby include floating the North Platte River and hiking the Platte River Trail.

Open June thru October with water, toilets and trash service. After September this becomes a pack-in pack-out area. Operational Hours: Open Memorial Day weekend through October, weather permitting.
