Biscuit Basin got its name from the biscuit-like deposits when Sapphire Pool last erupted in 1991. Sapphire pool is one of the most beautiful blue pools at Yellowstone. Other colorful features in this basin are Jewel Geyser, Shell Geyser, Avoca Spring, and Mustard Spring.
