Open year-round unlike most historic sites, visitors can visit the grounds and historic structures of Fort Laramie National Historic Site 365 days a year. Enjoy interpretive talks that cover a variety of themes related to the park's natural and cultural history, and lasts approximately 30 minutes each.
Begin at the visitor center at the restored 1884 Commissary Storehouse, and view an 18-minute orientation film, tour the museum and browse the award-winning bookstore. Visitors can listen to bugle calls while going through 12 restored buildings from 1849 to the late 1880s period.
