Description

An easy 1-mile loop trail leading to backcountry campsites and the western edge of forest-lined Ice Lake. Among the three small lakes along the upper stretch of Gibson River, it is the easiest to reach because of its close proximity to the road. Though a third of a mile from the road, it is still quiet and peaceful in the Ice Lake which is a good picnic site. Children can play around the fallen tree trunks.
