Description

Located on the Yellowstone River, the longest undammed river in the country, visitors might see some Yellowstone cutthroat trout leaping upstream at LeHardy's Rapids in the spring. Take note that fishing permits are required in Yellowstone, and state-issued fishing permits are not valid within the park. Park fishing permits are available at visitor centers, ranger stations, general stores, and other locations outside of the park.
