Description
Over 92 prehistoric petroglyph panels and more than 300 petroglyph figures can be seen at world-renowned Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site. It has been a sacred site for Native Americans for thousands of years. It was in 1973 when it was acquired as a Wyoming State Petroglyph Site and registered in National Register of Historic Places. With this, the site will be protected and preserved.
Today, the site has a visitor center, interpretive trails, and picnic shelters.
