Description
Called midway because of its location in the middle of Upper and Lower Geyser Basins. It was once referred to as 'Hell's Half Acre' which houses two of Yellowstone's largest hydrothermal features, Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser.

The water has really nice colours from dark blue to turquoise. You can feel the hot steam when you walk around. Crowded.

Follow the Boardwalk trail to see the amazing colours at this geyser. Simply stunning. The water creates a beautiful reflection.
