Description

Note: This trail is temporarily closed. Please check its website for updates. It will take around 8 to 10 hours to hike this 16.2-mile loop trail to Mt. Washburn. The hike will definitely take most of your day but the walk is worthy because of the wildflowers you will pass by along the trail. Of course, Mt. Washburn itself is already a worthy reward, plus the Washburn Hot Springs. There is no water access in this trail so make sure to bring plenty. During fall, grizzly bears are frequent in the area, that's why this trail is not recommended in September and October.

Nice to see the whole national park from bird perspective. Not a hard hike.

Nice and easy walk to the summit. 3,2mi to the top. You might approach wildlife, especially in the morning.
