Description
Get closer to one of Yellowstone's resurgent domes, the Mud Volcano - and see the areas of active ground deformation. The trail towards Mud Volcano is a 0.6-mile loop trail of pavement and boardwalks that starts and ends at the same parking lot, but at different trailheads.

0.6 mile (1KM) loop trail through a geothermal area. Walking clockwise is the least strenuous. My favourite feature was the Dragons Mouth.
