Description

Old Faithful Geyser has an average interval of 90 minutes per eruption. An eruption lasts for 1.5 to 5 minutes, expelling up to 8,400 gallons of boiling water. The regularity of its eruptions is believed to be due to no known connection with other hydrothermal features in the area.
