Description
Be prepared when hiking Pelican Valley Trail, as it is in prime grizzly bear habitat and only groups of four or more hikers are recommended to use this trail. The trail starts heading north, crossing some bridges through a meadow before entering the forest. Once hikers leave the forest, the trail ascend as small hill to a nice overlook of the valley. It is important to stay on the trail through this hazardous and fragile area, but it is also a good place to enjoy views of Pelican Creek.
