Description
During the early 1900s, the several fumaroles on the western slope of the peak of this mountain were loud enough to be heard from several miles, hence the name Roaring Mountain. Today, no more roars can be heard, but only hissing from the steam vents.

This is really cool, see steam pumping from the mountain. When we went past in the afternoon there was not much steam, however in the early morning it was much more spectacular with more steam. I think this is due to the colder weather in the morning.

A mountain that blows out a lot of steam. Can be seen from the carpark.
