Description
The Upper Falls is a 109-foot waterfall flowing over volcanic rocks, remnants of a lava flow resistant to erosion. It is usually overshadowed by Lower Falls because it is not within the depths of Grand Canyon. Still, it is equally impressive and beautiful.

Short walk from the carpark to the viewpoint. You can also walk to Uncle Tom's Point and Artists Point from here.

This provides a good view of the falls. But if you are pressed for time you are better off stopping at the brink of the upper falls and then the artists viewpoint further down
